The syncopated birthday dinner - Part 1

Summary: The whole Walker family is gathering for some drama.

Saturday

Nora hurried into her house, carrying two full grocery bags. She barley made it inside and she was definately not in the best mood. Not only was she late for tonight’s preparations, but she had also had a big argument with Sarah about Ojai. Again, Sarah refused to work with Holly and Tommy, once again jeopardizing the whole company. This time, more was at stake than just the company, but little did Nora know about that.

Sarah almost threw the yogurt and bread on the table in front of her children. She was mad our of her mind. Not only was Holly trying to take over Ojai, Tommy was god damn supporting it! Then, to top it all off, her own mother had actually agreed with Holly.
“Eat quick, we have to get ready to get to grandma’s.”

Tommy came home to find Julia and Lizzie on the floor of the living room, both covered in toys.
“You’re not ready yet? We have to leave for mom’s.” Julia didn’t seem to be in a hurry. Tommy sighed loudly and went to take a quick shower, wishing he could spend all night locked in the bathroom, to get away from her stubborn sister and her senseless mind.

Holly was standing in front of her over-sized mirror, looking at herself wearing a blue dress. A party at the Walker house was not what she needed after today, but she had promised she’d be there. The blue dress was a tad too short, and everyone would notice. Holly took it off, threw it on the pile of ten other dresses she’d tried on and brought out a longer black dress with a higher neck.

Robert was sitting by his desk, reading a boring enough report. Kitty walked in to find him with his feet on the desk, buried in the papers. They’d had a huge fight for several days, about something so tiny neither of them even remembered anymore. Kitty knew it, but she had decided it was not her turn to end it.
“Don’t forget mom’s tonight. Eight o’clock sharp.” Robert mumbled a respons, not even looking up.

Saul was still at the office, knowing he shouldn’t be. He didn’t have to. He should take the afternoon off, but honestly, he had no where to go. His phone rang.
“Hi Kevin… I remember… I’ll be there… See you then.” Saul put down the phone and sighed deeply. What if tonight should be the night?

Justin knew he’d be late for the party tonight. It was two PM and he still hadn’t made it out of bed. It wasn’t even his bed. Rebecca had left him there for lunch with some friend. Justin had migraine that would make some of his hangover’s jealous and his leg was aching. He had good hope for the party though. Maybe this would be the first time the family could be assembled without any drama. He didn’t realize how naïve that was.

Next one might be a while. We have Europride in Stockholm and I'm working my ass of the coming week.
Happy Pride!

Stay tuned, my friends!

I am currently writing on a new fic, a more extensive one with several chapters. I hope part one will be up this week - so check back!

Matthew Rhys as Kevin Walker and Luke Macfarlane as Scotty Wandell.

Summary: Kevin is the kind of guy who likes control – so he googles people to get ahead.

Kevin closed the door to his loft. It had been a long day. A long week actually. Or several. The death of his father, whom he hadn’t had closure with, the execution of the will, Justin and everything else. Kevin sighed hard as he poured himself a glass of wine and sat down on his couch.

There was one thing that cheered him up though. Or maybe cheering wasn’t the right word. He was cheerful in an annoyed way. Scotty Wandell. This obnoxious witness from one of his current cases. Scotty has spotted his gay thing right away, tearing down his professional image in seconds.

Scotty hadn’t just interrupted their interview, but he also asked about his personal life. It was somehow refreshing.

Kevin walked over to his computer and turned it on. He finished his wine and entered his password. “liza95m”. The computed made a drumming noise and was ready to work.

Kevin opened his web browser and typed in “Scotty Wandell” in the google box. 6 hits, not one refering to “his” Scotty. He tried “Scott Wandell”. 312 hits.

Ten minutes later, Kevin was starting to sweat out of dejection, finding nothing about the Scotty.

“Well” he said out loud. “I guess I have to find out for myself, then.”

Maybe to be continued… who knows… ☺

Summary: Scotty might be the posterboy for monogamy, at least if that klingy Randy Stewart can leave him alone. I came up with this when watching the scene outside Two for the road. When Randy takes Scotty’s hand Scotty removes it, looking a bit uncomfortable. This last part takes place after 2.16.

Three weeks after the commitment ceremony

Kevin and Scotty are cuddled up on the couch, eating large amounts of ice cream. The TV is rambling on in the background, it lost their interest a long time ago.

“Can I ask you something?” Kevin looks a little anxious as he asks. Scotty’s eyes widen with surprise over Kevin’s uneasy way. “Sure sweetie.”

“About Randy.” Scotty raises one eyebrow as if he’s not really remembering. The name does ring a bell. “Two for the road.” Kevin reminds him.

“Riiiight.” Scotty laughs out loud. “Randy. Poor thing.”

“When did you stop date him to be exclusive with me?”.

“It was just that one date, really. And it blew. I had an agenda.” Scotty looked mischievous and Kevin looked stunned.

“Okay…” Scotty shifted on the couch, putting his spoon in the gigantic bucket of half-melted ice cream. “He has the biggest crush on me after a drunk make-out at a party before I met you. He was after me for weeks. It’s kind of fun, actually.”

Kevin’s look was priceless, making Scotty laugh even harder. Kevin was so cute when he was jealous.

“It was after the mango-peach-salsa-outing-the-mistress-party. I was totally nackered and has no resistance to say no when he called me. Running into you when were out was not a part of the plan.”

“Agenda?”

“I was an awful date. I frowned and leaned back when he tried to kiss me, I removed my hand when he tried to hold it and I had a long monologue on how I just love my collection of bird’s eggs.” Scotty smiled to the memory. “I also told him how one of my many jobs was trying new kinds of dog food.” Kevin’s eyes widened. “It was of course a lie.” Scotty added.

“When at the movies I considered making a scene in the auditorium, preferably about how he tried to feel me up, but I decided not to, because you and Nora were there.” Scotty’s memories of Randy’s hands came back. It was like having an octopussy kling to him for bare life.

“I really wanted to tell you afterwards, but I figured I could use it to heighten my chances with you. A little competition, you know.” Scotty grinned. “To make me seem desired by cute 22-year-olds.”

Kevin still looked like a nesting box.

“All along I thought I stole you away from him, and you never even liked him in the first place.” Kevin seemed almost disappointed.

Scotty pressed his lips against Kevin’s. They were cold from the ice cream, tasting like sweet chocolate. “Well, even if I had liked him, I would’ve chosen you over him any way. You know… you could take him any day, sweetie.” Scotty leaned in again and kissed his husband, this time getting a hot respons.

Kevin broke their lip locking. “Yeah?” He looked hopeful, apparently eager to prove his masculinity.

“You make me tick. You could take anyone, babe. Even me…” Scotty placed the now melted ice cream bucket on the table in front of them and resumed the kissing.

Scotty sits down on the edge of his bed, repeating the bizarre dinner over and over in his head. Kevin was cute and all, but his family was worse than the Osbournes, when it came to the drama. He smiled at the memory. Matriarch Nora outing her late husbands mistress at dinner. Scotty wasn’t a drama queen, but that would’ve made good TV.

Yes, Kevin. Kevin was different from the rest of the guys he’d gone out with. Kevin was grown-up, mature and a bud waiting to blossom. One day he’d be sweet and caring, Scotty just knew it. He also knew that he’d like to be there when it happened. Yes, Kevin made him tick. It made him sad to think that Kevin really didn’t seem to be interested back.

He was suddenly awoken from his thoughts when his cell phone started ringing. He looked at the display. “Hey Randy.” It was too late in the day. “I’m fine. Just back from a dinner party.” It was never a good time to let the suitors down. “With a friend and his family…” He needed a glass of wine and approximately two whole days of sleep. “Okay. Sure. Why not? Let’s go out”.

Scotty exhaled and frowned. One date with Randy when he had just realized his feelings for Kevin. And not just that. He really wanted to show Kevin how he could be exclusive, which was apparently considered an art in the Walker family.

He would just have to go, be an awful date and embarrass Randy in public. That better show him, and hopefully scare him off for all eternity. Scotty got up to get that go-to-bed-glass of wine. It was time to plan the most awful date ever.

“I’m really flattered, and you do make a strong case here. Again. But I really don’t think us going out is a very good idea.” Scotty was on the phone, running around in his apartment collecting his things. “Randy, I really have to go now, I’m going to see and attourney about this fraude thing. I’ll talk to you later”.

Randy Stewart had been all over Scotty for a good couple of weeks, and frankly, it was getting tiresome. Sure, he seemed nice and all, but he didn’t make Scotty tick.

Twenty minutes too late Scotty left his apartment heading downtown to meet with Keith Walker, or whatever his name was. This Mangopean fraude thing was really taking the energy out of him, with depositions and questions to him over and over again.

Summary: What happened when Kevin pulled Scotty into his apartment after their chat in Date Night?

Scotty fell down and landed back first on the bed. Kevin landed next to him seconds later.

“Wow.” Scotty breathed heavily. His body felt heavy and throbbing and he was unable to move, or even to open his eyes. He felt Kevin’s hand on his stomach and felt small kisses popping on his neck.

“You’re good.” Kevin whispered in his ear. Scotty managed to grin.
“You’re not exactly bad yourself.”
It was the middle of the afternoon, but the two of them could do nothing but just lay there, arms wrapped around each other, falling sound asleep.

Summary: What happened when Kevin pulled Scotty into his apartment after their chat in Date Night?

Scotty can feel it. He can feel it so certainly. It’s around him in the air, it’s around his body in Kevin’s arms and most of all it’s throbbing against his thigh. He knows that Kevin knows. He also knows that Kevin can feel him too.

Never before has Scotty lost his clothes so fast and without knowing where they end up. He’s quite sure his t-shirt is hanging on a lamp, but for all he cares it can hang there forever.

Kevin places little kisses on Scotty’s neck, his tongue exploring skin further and further down. He reaches Scotty’s nipples. They get stiff and Scotty holds his breath as Kevin continues down to the belly button.

Kevin has never seen such an amazing belly button before. It’s truly perfect, and truthfully lickable. Scotty sits up to encircle Kevins waist, pulling them down onto the bed with Kevin on top straddeling Scotty.

The smile on Kevin’s face is seriously from ear to ear, making Scotty laugh in the middle of everything. Knowing how that could easily destory their fire, Scotty takes Kevin’s face between his hands, pulling them down to his, kissing him tenderly.

Kevin’s hand works Scotty’s erection, releasing tension and receiving needy noises, as a confirmation he’s going the right direction. Scotty lifts his head and whispers in Kevin’s ear. “Take me.” Seconds later Scotty comes all over Kevin’s hand and stomach.

Summary: What happened when Kevin pulled Scotty into his apartment after their chat in Date Night?

”I’m kidding… come in here!” Kevin pulled Scotty into his loft and closed the door behind them, looking around to see if any nosy neighbours were watching.

When he turned around Scotty was standing right there, smiling. They both knew it, this was their first time.

”You want something to drink… coffee, water, a beer?” Kevin looks with anticipation as Scotty smiles wider and nods.
”Whatever… a beer is good.” Kevin returns shortly with two bottles. They sip, still awkwardly quiet.

Scotty knows he has to break down barriers with Kevin before they can do it. He can hear Kevin holding his breath, opening his mouth, as if to speak, but he doesn’t, and closes it again. He sips his beer.

“I really liked being out with you.” Kevin looks at him in disbelief. They just straighted out yesterday’s inepted date, and Scotty tries to start over?
“I… guess I did too. We can do it again. If you… if you want to.” Kevin stammers. He’s just where Scotty wants him.

“I do.” Scotty puts down his beer, slowly takes Kevin’s beer and sits it down next to his own bottle. Kevin watches, his mouth a bit open. Scotty takes Kevins hands in his and sits them both down on the couch.

“I really like you.” They look into each other’s eyes, blue meets blue. Kevin can’t believe the words he hear. Scotty – this guy who probably can get whoever he wants, someone more interesting than a 30 something attorney with assorted issues, likes him, and obviously wants to do this date thing again, part two.

“I too. You… too. Like… I… ” Kevin notices his teen-like ramble and shuts up. Scotty laughs briefly and to smooth things over, at the same time they both lean in for the kiss that will make their inner hells break lose. Their mutual lean towards each other makes their lips meet with a minor explosion.

Kevin feels a hand on his inner thigh, moving slowly from the knee up. Another hand is firmly placed on the back of his head, making sure their lips don’t part. All of a sudden they are legs and arms interwound in each other. Kevin ends up on his back with Scotty’s eager body on top of him.

“This… is… so… uncomfortable…” All Kevin can do is to agree. They get up, slightly embarrassed, but definitely wanting more. They grin towards each other. Kevin knows it’s up to him to invite Scotty to his bed. He puts his arms around Scotty, locking lips and leads the two of them towards the bedroom.

Welcome!

This is where I (probably) will post my fanfics with Kevin and Scotty from B&S.

I've written one so far, and honesly, I don't know if I will write more. Please leave a comment if you like this, and feel free to suggest story lines. :)
